The Position:
The Director of Data & Technology plays a vital role in advancing the mission of CrossPurpose by overseeing the development, management, and utilization of hardware and software data and technology solutions. This individual will lead efforts to harness data and technology for strategic data-driven decision-making, program improvement, and efficient operations. The role combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of our faith-based mission.

Responsibilities:

• Data Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.
• Data Management: Oversee the collection, storage, and management of data, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Technology Infrastructure: Manage and optimize the organization’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to integrate data and technology into strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate data-driven reports, dashboards, and insights to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
• Data Privacy and Security: Ensure data privacy and security compliance, implementing best practices to protect sensitive information.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a team of data and technology professionals to support the organization’s needs.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for data and technology initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, volunteers, and external partners to align data and technology efforts with organizational goals.
• Innovation: Stay informed about emerging technologies and data analytics trends to drive innovation within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology).
• Master’s Degree Preferred.
• A strong commitment to the faith-based mission and values of the organization.
• Proven experience in data management and technology leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and software.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Non-Profit data and technology needs and solutions.

Salary & Benefits:

• Hours: 40 hours/week: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, occasional other hours as scheduled.
• Salary/Wage: $85,000 - $102,000 Annually
• Performance Bonus: Up to 5% of salary
• Vacation: 15 days per year, plus the office is closed Christmas Day - New Year’s Day, and staff have limited duties
• Sick Days: 6 days per year
• Insurance Benefits: Health, dental, vision, workers’ compensation, unemployment, short-term disability, long-term disability
