HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems Provides onsite, hands-on O&M support for client computing devices to include personal computers, thin/zero clients, laptops, Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs), and peripherals. Provides end-user IT system and software maintenance for the USCENTCOM COOP. Coordinates and manages Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accountability of new equipment, replacement equipment, and upgrades. Tracks the disposition of equipment throughout its lifecycle (e.g., Computer Equipment Replacement Program [CERP] and Life Cycle Replacement [LCR]). Processes end of life, defective, and/or damaged equipment through the Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO). Develops procedures to facilitate management and testing of desktop load set configurations to include tracking and compiling of user issues, software conflicts, devices conflicts, and other similar tasks. As needed, provide CPN and SCO support to Coalition partners, and provide expertise and advice relating to Coalition Partner Networks.
