As Global Information Security & Governance Manager (m/f/d), you are the chief architect of our global information security strategy. In a connected world where data is our most valuable asset, you protect our systems, processes, and employees from global threats and ensure compliance across different jurisdictions.

You move that

• You will develop and be responsible for our global information security strategy and the associated governance roadmap in line with our business objectives.
• You ensure compliance with international security standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST) as well as regional data protection laws across all global locations.
• You are responsible for global emergency management within the framework of NIS 2, including the design and implementation of emergency plans for all group-wide IT services.
• You conduct regular global risk analyses, derive proactive mitigation strategies, and establish transparent security monitoring for top management.
• You lead the global Security Incident Management process, coordinate the response to incidents in real time, and manage official reporting while adhering to strict SLAs.
• You advise the management and the board directly on current threat situations and define the strategic IT security investment needs.
• You will monitor our external IT service providers and guarantee strict compliance with all contractual information security and governance requirements.
• You will strengthen the global security culture throughout the Bahlsen Group through targeted awareness campaigns and training for all hierarchical levels.

This is what you bring with you

• You have relevant professional experience in IT security, including several years in a controlling security or governance function in a global environment.
• You have a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, IT security or a comparable academic qualification.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of cloud security (ideally GCP), modern network architectures, and securing global production and supply chains.
• Ideally, you bring recognized certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA or a qualification as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
• You understand the critical dynamics of the FMCG sector and know how important robust cybersecurity structures are for a 24/7 production and logistics chain.
• You are characterized by strong negotiation skills, intercultural competence and a pronounced ability to assert yourself towards internal and external stakeholders.
• You have the ability to present complex technical IT risks to top management in a way that is understandable, audience-oriented and business-focused.
• You communicate and negotiate with absolute confidence in German and English to lead our global teams and partners confidently through governance issues.
