FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF JOB: This position is responsible for providing engineering support to the Sales & FAE team with respect to Astrodyne TDI Power supplies & Filters to assist engineers by helping design, build, test, and maintain systems and equipment’s. in the selection of the appropriate solution for their application requirements, resolve customer issues, and propose prototype products in pursuit of new business development. The candidate will work with Applications and FAE’s team to accomplish these objectives. Job Responsibilities: Perform circuit board electronic modifications such as component rework, soldering/de-soldering of electronic components, etc. Assemble test units and document assembly and test issues. Validate ATDI product functionality by using standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multi-meter, etc. Own calibration and mechanical setup on all test equipments in WCTC. Help place parts order/ laboratory supplies to Applications/Test engineers. Shipping and/or receiving of ATDI products or parts and recording them to WCTC service log. Can lift up to 25 lbs. Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet critical deadlines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: A minimum of a H.S. diploma/GED is required. Practical understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts and work with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, etc.) and have hands on mechanical experience. Preferred Qualifications: An associate’s degree in electronic technology or similar discipline with minimum 5 years of experience working on Electronics is preferred. Good communication skills, communicate effectible, write comprehensive technical reports and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
