Essential Job Functions Teaches and monitors behaviors/skills according to individualized treatment plans using the Psycho-Educational Model (PEM) Models' appropriate relationships with youth and staff Teaches meal preparation and living skills. Attends consultation meetings. Monitors and maintains a safe living and learning environment for youth (e.g., bed checks, recreational activities, educational activities, etc.) Attends to youths' medical/physical conditions. Assists in the preparation of youth summaries and reports (e.g., clinical summaries, behavioral report cards, discharge summaries, incident reports, etc.) Assists in processing documents for youth intake and departure. Participates in Safe Crisis Management as needed. Updates youth files Participates in shift transition meetings. Attends weekly staff meetings and daily feedback sessions.
