Description

For the Global Supply Chain BPS department we are looking for an Manager of (S&OE) (x|f|m) for Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. The position is to be filled full-time and it is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen and the rest of the time remotely from home. In this position you are responsible for managing the S&OE process for global BPS (Bio Process Solutions) Operations. The role focuses on collaborating across the ecosystem to deal with exceptions and rebalance demand and supply plans with minimal disruptions.

  • You lead, manage, and further develop the S&OE team to ensure effective execution of sales and operational plans
  • You deploy and establish the S&OE process in BPS Operations successfully
  • You collaborate across S&OE and S&OP processes to ensure strong integration of planning with execution
  • You ensure the S&OE meetings take place at regular intervals You keep participants in the process on track, moving toward managing execution priorities, balancing short-term demand and supply, and dealing with S&OP plan exceptions
  • You facilitate the S&OE meeting in the form of a live working session, ensuring that all information is presented and discussed, all stakeholders are engaged, decisions are made and agreed upon, and execution plans are documented with owners and completion dates
  • You ensure that decisions from the meeting are communicated to each function to ensure execution is taking place
  • You ensure that the S&OE process is sustained to the intended level of maturity
  • You work on continuous improvement and permanently evaluate options to improve the process
