Your role will involve delivering high-quality advocacy, preparing legal advice, and ensuring compliance with panel requirements and CSO practice management standards. Solicitors with either criminal or civil law experience, particularly those with litigation expertise, are strongly encouraged to apply.   About You The ideal candidate will have extensive advocacy experience (+5 years) and the demonstrated ability to present effectively, prepare evidence and deal with evidentiary issues, conduct cross-examination and re-examination in matters, and prepare and present written and oral submissions that are clear, accurate and persuasive. Prior experience mentoring and developing advocacy skills in lawyers and experience advising on appeal prospects and conduct of complex appeals in Courts and or Tribunals is desirable.    Essential requirements Candidate must be an Australian Citizen Completion of a law degree from an accredited law school or completion of the Legal Practitioners Admission Board’s Diploma in Law Course. Admission or eligibility for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW. Highly developed legal skills and extensive experience which enable provision of advice and representation in highly complex legal matters in areas of law in which the Public Interest & Protection Practice Group specialises. Undertake a security clearance assessment, Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check.
