Your role
As a Civil Engineer in our Roads & Highways team, you’ll contribute to purposeful work that shapes the future of the transport sector. Collaborating with a diverse, multidisciplinary team, you’ll help develop integrated road and highway solutions, bring fresh and thoughtful perspectives, and work closely with clients to deliver safer, more efficient, and sustainable infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing

• Engineering – this role is for an enthusiastic engineer that wants to expand their knowledge in roads and highways infrastructure projects, maintaining involvement from the bid stage through to design and ultimate successful project delivery.
• Supporting development – work with a team of civil engineers, designers and drafters to contribute to the design and construction of road infrastructure across a range of local and state government projects.
• Personal growth – grow your technical skills and leadership abilities within the team with guidance from the large Aurecon support network.

Professional development – actively progress toward Chartered Engineer (CPEng/RPEQ) status, supported by mentoring, training and structured development opportunities.

• Providing insights with care – share thoughts, ideas and opinions within a team that supports confident, inclusive decision-making and collaboration.

• A relevant engineering degree, ideally with previous experience in roads & highways engineering
• An ability to contribute to practical and well-considered solutions, with support from experience colleagues
