We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Inclusion Project Officer to support early childhood services in embedding inclusive practices for children with additional needs. This role involves service visits, staff mentoring, attendance at meetings, and a focus on building strong partnerships with inclusion support agencies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Inclusion Project Officer, you’ll play a key role in:

• Assisting with the implementation of our Inclusion Framework across Council Early Education Centres.
• Supporting educators in the development of inclusive practices for children with disabilities, trauma-based conditions, and behavioural challenges.
• Overseeing Strategic Inclusion Plans (SIPs), individual child development plans, and inclusion funding applications.
• Providing both on-site and off-site mentoring to educators and collaborating with families and specialists.
• Driving projects that enhance physical and learning environments to promote meaningful participation for all children.
