Your part in our UnitingCare team The Intensive Family Support Service assists complex, vulnerable families who are at risk of entering the Child Protection system. We are a voluntary service who visits families in their homes approximately once a week for up to 12 months, enabling us to work together to keep children safe and achieve family goals. The Child and Family Case Worker will lead case management with families in a fast paced, high volume work environment to identify and prioritise their concerns. This role involves: Providing a mix of therapeutic and in-home practical care to support complex, vulnerable and often hard to reach families. Actively engage, assess and develop collaborative case plans to ensure we are prioritising the families' presenting concerns in turn preparing them to be referred to specialist support services.
