QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Florida APRN license with PMHNP board certification and either FNP or APRN certification.
• DEA and Florida prescriptive authority or eligibility.
• Completion of required controlled-substance prescribing education.
• One to two years of post-graduate psychiatric experience preferred. Strong new graduates will be considered.
• Experience with co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed, measurement-based care.
• Proficiency with EMR and telehealth.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Integrated primary care or collaborative care model experience.
• MAT experience with buprenorphine or naltrexone.
• Comfort with SMI, SUD, or adolescent populations.
• Participation in quality improvement or population-health initiatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dual-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who holds PMHNP board certification and a primary care certification (FNP or APRN). You will deliver integrated psychiatric care with select primary care services for patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health needs. The ideal clinician is collaborative, outcome-driven, and comfortable working in a team-based model.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Complete psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management using evidence-based guidelines.
• Provide select primary care services within scope, including preventive care, chronic disease follow-up, and health screenings that support behavioral treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with therapy, nursing, primary care, and case management to meet shared goals.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics relevant to medication safety and medical clearance.
• Offer medication-assisted treatment when appropriate and consistent with program protocols.
• Document timely, accurate notes, orders, and care plans that meet payer and regulatory standards.
• Participate in case conferences, quality reviews, and peer learning.
• Educate patients and families on medications, side effects, health behaviors, and relapse prevention.
• Support crisis triage and risk assessments with appropriate escalation and safety planning.
