You will be responsible for answering and scheduling all incoming calls in a timely manor. You will be responsible for obtaining and logging all necessary prior authorizations/referrals 48 hours prior to scheduled appointments in the E-Clinical Works (ECW) medical billing system. Accurate scheduling with appropriate provider. Verify patient's insurance. Request and obtain authorization prior to appointment. Must have a positive and cheerful/friendly disposition. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be patient and have excellent listening skills. Must be organized and able to multi-task. This is a high-volume, fast-paced, very busy office and the phones ring all day. Must be able to stay calm and polite, cheerful and helpful. This position is located in our Hudson office.
