J&R Food Service are an established family business who continue to grow and are looking for a Area Sales Manager to join our very successful sales team.
Living within the Mid Devon area the successful applicant will be a confident self-starter and of smart appearance.
You must be articulate, punctual, self motivated and be able to manage your own time effectively. You will be target driven and MUST have a desire to succeed. You will need to be able to work to strict deadlines and work under pressure.
The ability to be able to work autonomously as well as part of a committed, driven sales team is essential.
The role will involve:-
Maintaining and increasing sales of your company’s products.
Reaching the targets and goals set for your area.
Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base.
Servicing the needs of your existing customers.
Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.
Compiling and analysing sales figures.
Collecting customer feedback and market research.
Reporting to your Senior manager.
Keeping up to date with the latest products and competitors activity.
Experience within the Catering industry would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

You will need to have at least four years driving experience for insurance purposes and hold a full UK driving licence.
