SUPPORT WORKER – WHEELCHAIR EXPERIENCE & STRONG ENGLISH COMMUNICATION

• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  About the Role
  We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to assist a male client in Mandurah. The role requires experience in supporting individuals who use a wheelchair and the ability to communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding, safety, and quality support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support.
• Assist with wheelchair use, safe transfers, and mobility.
• Support community participation and social engagement.
• Follow individual care plans and document progress accurately.
• Communicate clearly with the client, family, and management team.

Requirements

• Proven experience supporting clients who use a wheelchair (mandatory).
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Compassionate, reliable, and respectful approach.

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.00 – $43.00 per hour
