About the role
Are you ready to shape the future of patient-centered care?
As the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) at Calvary Central Districts Hospital, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to drive innovation, empower teams, and position our hospital as a true centre of excellence.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will lead the development and delivery of modern care models, oversee clinical services, and champion best-in-class patient care and clinical governance.
Your impact will extend across Calvary Central Districts, the Connery Centre Day Oncology, and the Calvary SA Breast and Endocrine Centre at Playford Health Hub.
Provide strategic and operational leadership for clinical services.
Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical governance.
Support and develop staff through training and opportunities.
Assist in business plan development, implementation, and review.
Lead accreditation efforts and apply national standards, according to the NSQHS.
Develop policies aligning with best practice, and Calvary mission, and values.
Lead and support a team of Clinical Managers and direct reports.
Foster relationships with Visiting and Senior Medical Officers.
Contribute to business development initiatives.
What you bring
AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in management or a related field, or equivalent work and study experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with expertise in change management, conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation.
Proven financial management skills, including budgeting, efficiency strategies, and service target achievement.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and innovate service delivery.
Experience in implementing strategic plans across multiple services within a facility.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adaptability to the evolving healthcare landscape.
Desire to contribute to a mission-driven organisation dedicated to patient care.
