Grade 7/8 - $113,574 - $125,720 + superannuation and annual leave loading A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for up to 18 months.     Your role   These roles are responsible for designing and delivering high quality training for frontline Housing Services staff across NSW, with a strong focus on the HOMES client management system. This includes translating complex policy, procedures and operational requirements into practical, scenario-based learning that reflects real client interactions and decision-making in the field. You will play a key role in building capability, ensuring staff are confident, consistent, and effective in using Homes NSW systems and applying policy correctly to support compliant, client-centred outcomes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching, travelling, and working collaboratively to uplift digital and service capability. In addition to system training, you will design and deliver content that integrates policy, business processes, and service expectations, ensuring staff understand not just how to use systems, but why decisions are made and how to apply them. You will contribute to continuous improvement by incorporating feedback, identifying capability gaps, and refining training to align with evolving policy and service delivery priorities.   Additionally, the Project Officer (Temporary) will be working with a Senior Project Officer to lead in implementing and delivering two workforce capability initiatives, arising from the Homes NSW People Matters Employees Survey Working Group on Recruitment and Consistency. One initiative will focus on strengthening recruitment integrity, consistency and candidate experience. The second initiative will focus on ensuring all new Homes NSW colleagues feel welcomed, informed and confident from day one.      What you’ll do As part of the Housing Practice Improvement team, Homes NSW Service Delivery & Assurance Hub, you will develop training materials and deliver training that builds frontline capability and drives consistent service delivery across the state. You’ll design, develop, and facilitate engaging face-to-face, online and eLearning training programs, delivered statewide, on HOMES and related systems, integrating policy, procedures and real-world scenarios to ensure staff can confidently apply their knowledge in practice.   You will take a user-centred approach to training design, translating complex system functionality and policy requirements into practical, accessible learning experiences that reflect the realities of frontline roles. You will also monitor training effectiveness, incorporate feedback, and continuously refine content to address capability gaps and evolving operational priorities.   You will also work closely with Registered Training Organisations, support District teams, and ensure training content meets operational needs. This includes partnering with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business processes, compliance requirements and service standards.
