At PA, we work across the entire AI lifecycle, from ideation and experimentation to fully implemented solutions, with a strong focus on quality, responsible AI and scalability. Projects vary, but they all share one common principle: AI is not a goal in itself, but a means of solving real business challenges for our clients. 

Your work will include: 

• Designing, developing and testing AI and Generative AI solutions to address specific business needs 
• Experimenting with and applying modern AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures and agent-based solutions 
• Integrating AI models with data, APIs and existing technology landscapes, designing cloud-native solutions on major cloud service providers (such as Azure, GCP) 
• Contributing to AI architecture, quality assurance, evaluation and the responsible use of AI 
• Sharing knowledge and learning collaboratively within PA’s active AI community 
• Developing production-grade software using modern engineering practices and agile delivery methodologies 
• Designing and building robust data pipelines and data engineering architectures to support AI/LLM applications. 

You will join a supportive and highly skilled environment where you are not expected to know everything from day one, but where you will be given the opportunity to develop quickly through real projects, coaching and hands-on learning. 

Qualifications

We are recruiting at several levels, so we encourage you to apply whether you have a few years of experience after graduation or many years of professional experience. 

We are particularly interested in candidates who have: 

• Production experience within AI, data science or software engineering 
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C# with a focus on writing production-grade software 
• Experience with modern software delivery practices, including DevOps and CI/CD 
• Building end-to-end AI prototypes, including integration with vector databases (e.g. Vertex AI, Weaviate, Pinecone or similar) 
• Developing AI and agent-based solutions in Python, including the use of frameworks such as LangChain or similar 
• Modern “vibe coding” tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex or Claude Code 
• Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform) 
• The ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate technical solutions in an understandable way 
• A relevant degree in areas such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field 
• Fluent in both English and Dutch*

We do not necessarily expect you to match all of the criteria above. We encourage you to apply even if you only meet some of the requirements. 

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you also have experience with: 

• Front-end prototyping in React or similar technologies 
• Evaluation and observability of AI solutions (e.g. RAGAS or similar) 

*Please note that, to be considered for this role, you must be fluent in Dutch and based in the Netherlands.
