POSITION DESCRIPTION Job Title: Teaching Assistant – CLIN 621: Group Counseling Skills  Department: Counseling Department  Reports To:  Dr. Megan Speciale - Course Lead for CLIN 621  MODALITY: REMOTE         EMPLOYMENT STATUS: PART-TIME; WINTER TERM 2026 QUARTER; 1/5/26-3/20/26                            Summary As a TA for Group Counseling, you will:  * Attend class weekly (Zoom)  * Help supervise clinical group skills practice during scheduled weekly class meetings   * Assist with grading and student evaluation  * Communicate with students outside of class re: answering course/assignment-related questions    SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   * TAs provide student support for students and faculty members for clinical group skills feedback, grading of discussion posts and assignments, clinical skills practice during class meetings, and coordination and planning with instructors around class activities. TAs must complete mandatory TA training.  * Group Counseling TAs must meet the following requirements:  * You must be a student at PAU who has successfully completed coursework in Counseling Skills and Group Counseling.
