Opportunity: Journeyman HVAC Tech
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Schedule: 14 day/nights on, 14 days off, 12 hours per day
Housing: Camp accommodations are provided
Travel: Flights to and from Calgary, Edmonton

OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION:

As a member of our HVAC Maintenance crew you will participate in the following activities:

• Install and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and components
• Respond to and perform emergency and preventative maintenance
• Perform combustion analysis/set up of gas fired units
• Report all incidents, near misses and unsafe working conditions
• Actively participate in safety program
• Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) guidelines
• Other duties as required.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Must have OSSA BSO or CSO training certificates.
• Valid OSSA accredited Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space and Fall Protection
• A minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Experience in maintenance work in the Fort McMurray oil sands is considered an asset
• Red Seal Interprovincial or Alberta Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate , Gasfitter Certificate
• The successful candidate will be safety conscious, self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated a history of safe work practices
