JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, including stocking, picking and packing, as well as shipping and receiving. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques is essential.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems such as AS400 is an advantage.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification may be required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience in construction or similar fields is a plus.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the shift.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfilment.

  Pay: £18,315.00-£27,299.85 per year

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
• Perform stocking duties, including replenishing shelves and organising products for easy access.
• Engage in picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer requirements.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide support in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to assist with minor repairs or maintenance of equipment when necessary.
