The Role

Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, this role is pivotal to the daily operation of the resort. As Manager on Duty, you will be responsible for leading a culture of five-star service, ensuring our Associates anticipate the needs of your guests and exceeds their expectations. 

In this hands-on leadership role you will have outstanding guest relations, the ability to think on your feet, strong financial acumen and an innovative leadership style.

The Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment
• A collaborative leadership style as part of the Front Office leadership team
• A genuine passion for guest service and inspiring the team to provide a memorable experience for our guests
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to easily build strong rapports with guests and colleagues
• An energetic approach to time management and managing competing priorities
• Be solutions focused with a confident and proactive approach to conflict resolutions
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and when responding to emergency situations
• The flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and occasional overnight shifts as required.
• Experience with Opera PMS
