Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware and software, including Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, crypto/encryption devices, and related infrastructure. Implement and enforce network security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with DoD and organizational regulations. Patch, upgrade, and maintain firmware, components, and configurations for network devices and supporting systems. Analyze, administer, and support global network operations, ensuring reliability and continuity of service. Participate in, and occasionally lead, major network installations, upgrades, and implementation of network standards and procedures. Develop and execute network testing strategies, documenting results and recommending improvements. Evaluate and integrate hardware, software, and peripheral equipment to enhance network capabilities.
