Vital specialises in the Building Services sector of Hydraulic and Civil Design with a strong focus on producing high quality, accurate documentation for our clients.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• At least one year prior experience working as a Hydraulic Services Drafter in Australia.
• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD.
• An understanding of hydraulic systems including storm water, sewer, sanitary plumbing, and water reticulation.
• Knowledge of Revit highly desirable, however not essential.
• Knowledge of ACT standards desirable, however not essential.
• Only candidates with full working rights in Australia will be considered at this time.

As a Hydraulic Designer or Draftsperson at Vital, you will be responsible for working closely with senior designers and engineers to complete documentation and reporting. You will consult with clients, industry professionals and the relevant authorities when necessary. You will be required to complete high quality work within the specified time frame, using your previous experience and willingness to learn.

You will be required to draft/design elements within the Hydraulics discipline with minimal guidance. These include, but are not limited to:

• Water Services (cold, heated, reclaimed, recycled and specialty water systems).
• Drainage Services (sanitary, stormwater, subsurface and trade waste).
• Gas Services (natural gas and liquified petroleum gas).
• Waste Water Management (black and grey water harvesting and tradewaste treatment).
• Stormwater Management (retention systems, detention systems and treatment facilities).
