We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our team in Winslow, ME. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Staff Accountant to support daily accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Private Equity Experience.
  • Manufacturing Experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting department.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software within an ERP environment (e.g., Epicor, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks) – Epicor preferred, in order to record journal entries and reconcile account activity.
  • Excellent / Advanced User skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
