We are seeking a U.S.-based Finance Manager who can oversee client financials, manage a team, and serve as a trusted point of contact for business owners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in bookkeeping/accounting, with leadership responsibilities
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Keeper.app (required)
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, payroll processing, and tax compliance
  • Experience reviewing and reconciling large volumes of transactions
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines across 100+ client accounts
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We need a highly skilled, independent Finance Manager who can manage 150+ clients with confidence. This role is client-facing and requires excellent technical accounting knowledge, leadership, and the ability to resolve issues calmly and professionally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Weekly review of client financials and identification of discrepancies
  • Oversee and support month-end reconciliations for all clients
  • Prepare and explain monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Manage and supervise offshore bookkeeping staff; review their work for accuracy
  • Payroll management — oversee and process payroll for multiple clients
  • Tax support — assist with tax filings, compliance, and coordination with CPAs
  • Meet with clients, explain financials in clear terms, and address concerns calmly
  • Handle escalations and client issues smoothly and professionally
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met for reporting and compliance
  • Use QuickBooks Online and Keeper daily for financial management
  • Take full ownership of client satisfaction — no micromanagement required
