Description Position Summary The Strategic Business Advisor serves as a Strategic Ally for manufacturing business clients in the accounting and advisory space working closely with them to identify and achieve their goals. Strategic Business Advisors work externally with key clients building and nurturing relationships and heavily participate in business development efforts. This role also coordinates in helping to develop new and unique service offerings and expanding existing services to our clients. The Advisor has knowledge in topics such as production management, inventory management, ERP systems, market competition, finance, licensing regulations, economics, marketing, risk management, and emerging issues impacting the manufacturing industry. FLSA Status: Exempt Requirements Required Experience and Education Ten years of experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. Some experience in Public Accounting is expected. Other experience in private/public industry accounting/finance working in environments with $1-$100 million in revenues per year. Some experience working in industry with revenues up to $500 million. Strong people skills will elevate the success of this professional. Up front as well as continued training will be provided, and this position will have regular team support but would still have to be self-driven to be successful. Major Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Business Advisors work to create, package, and sell unique and differentiating Service Offerings based on their interest and expertise, provide insight, analysis and guidance on financial and business matters to clients, and assist with special projects for the industry team and firm.
