We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant. This role is essential in supporting the kitchen staff in food preparation and ensuring a smooth operation within the kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
• Basic culinary skills including cooking techniques and meal preparation
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills in catering and food preparation

• Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of chefs and kitchen staff
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment
• Support catering events by assisting with food service and presentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
