SUMMARY

We are seeking a Parts Manager to join our team at Taylor Attachments. In this role, you will oversee the parts department, ensuring efficient management of inventory and supply chain processes. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding of shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent customer service skills to enhance client relationships.
• Accurate time keeping and a strong work ethic are a mandatory quality requirement.
• Good sense of humour also helps - life’s too short not to have a laugh!
  This is a hand on and physical job role and will require a basic level of fitness.

• Loading and unloading of deliveries using a forklift truck - training provided.
• Check in and document deliveries.
• Organising the safe and efficient receipt and storage of all parts/materials/products.
• Managing warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
• Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilisation.
• Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
• Manage all purchase orders and resolve any discrepancy for all purchase orders.
• Administering stock control
• Weekly stock takes of all consumables and fast-moving products
• Identify and resolve all issues in parts department and ensure achievement of all short- and long-term objectives.
• Complete final check off of finished products ready for dispatch
