• Deliver category management and assortment analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and underperformance in liquor categories.
• Liaise with suppliers to understand new product launches and leverage key insights.
• Lead the gate process for annual category range reviews and support implementation via space and range management.
• Partner with IBA category teams and business managers to develop and execute tailored retail programs.
• Provide compelling consumer, shopper and category insights to inform strategy.
• Produce store layouts and range review guides to support in-store execution.

You’re Likely a Match If

• You have 3+ years of experience in liquor or FMCG retail, ideally within category management on the supplier or retailer side.
• You’ve worked in category roles and understand the fundamentals of range and space planning.
• You’re confident working with data and can draw strategic insights using tools like Excel, Power BI, and space management platforms.
• You’re a strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments and enjoys working with diverse stakeholders.
• You bring a sharp eye for detail and a structured, analytical approach to solving problems.
• You understand retail dynamics, shopper behaviour, and how to apply category planning practices effectively.
• You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, or category management (preferred but not essential).
