GRADE 7 SALARY RANGE £35,180.40 - £38,424.24 PER ANNUM
This is a great time to join Test Valley’s forward thinking and proactive housing team. We are looking for a new Housing Options Officer, this post plays a key role in the prevention of homelessness in the borough.
Housing Options Officers work with customers to prevent them from becoming homeless. Operating within both the legal framework and internal policies, you will carry out in depth housing assessments and investigate applications for assistance, whilst identifying how to ensure each customer maintains a home. This may be working with customers to save their current home or helping them to find a new one.
This is a busy role, in which you will manage a caseload and be responsible for ensuring the Council adheres to its legal responsibilities. You will work closely with colleagues across the housing service whose primary focus is to prevent and relieve homelessness.

The role is expected to be across our Andover and Romsey Offices with some flexibility for home working.
