OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled HD Mechanic to join their team in Whitecourt, Alberta. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various trucks and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to the success of our company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Journeyman HD Mechanic ticket, or 3 year apprentice
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
• Familiarity with electrical systems and diagnostics
• Experience working with Kenworth and Peterbuilt equipment is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various trucks and other equipment
• Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, assemble, and repair components
• Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Perform diagnostics using specialized equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Demonstrate a high level of commitment to safety, to yourself and colleagues
• Must be self motivated, work well with minimum supervision
• Must be available 24/7 when on call
• Must be receptive to working with short notice for call outs and overtime
