JOB DESCRIPTION
Midland Medical Services Ltd are looking to appoint an engineer to work within our maintenance department.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The ideal applicant will be a trained compressor engineer with good communication skills, an electrical / mechanical background and have experience of any of the following :-
Air Compressors
Desiccant Dryers
Vacuum pumps
Pneumatics

You will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of a wide range of piped medical gas plant and equipment. The majority of our customer base are hospitals both public and private, however we also work in laboratories, research facilities and universities.
The range of equipment you will be required to work on includes :-
Air Plants consisting of Compressors (Screw or Piston types), Desiccant Dryers, Receivers and controls
Vacuum Plants
Manifolds
Terminal units
Alarms.
Training will be provided for specialist equipment.
We carry out 4 planned preventative maintenance visits per year at each hospital.
We provide a 24/7 emergency call out service and you will be required to participate in an on call rota, usually 1 week in 4 or 5, you will also be required to be flexible in your approach to hours of work with early starts, late finishes, out of hours working and nights away occasionally being required.
