Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Analyst responsible for ensuring high product quality across web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, strong defect management skills, and a solid understanding of SDLC/STLC processes. Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications. Create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data. Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing. Execute test cases and document results with proper evidence. Log, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira). Participate in Sprint Planning, Story Grooming, and Retrospectives. Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and QA team members. Conduct Smoke/Sanity testing before release deployments. Support UAT testing and production validation when required. Ensure adherence to defined QA processes and compliance standards. Required Skills & Qualifications 1–3 years of experience (Junior) / 3–5 years (Mid-level) in Manual Testing. Strong understanding of: SDLC & STLC Test case design techniques (BVA, EP, Decision Table, etc.) Defect life cycle Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology. Hands-on experience with Jira or similar defect tracking tools. Basic knowledge of: API testing (Postman preferred) SQL queries for data validation Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
