Position Overview: The Business Development Executive/Sr.BDE is responsible for driving revenue growth through effective sales process management across all product categories, including DP, International, Retail, Cargo, and E-Retail. This role involves implementing sales strategies, enhancing customer relationships, and maximizing profitability through channel partners. Additionally, the Assistant Manager monitors performance metrics and ensures adherence to standard operating procedures to achieve branch objectives. Job Purpose: The Business Development Executive/Sr.BDE is responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability across all product categories by effectively managing sales processes and relationships with customers and channel partners. This role focuses on implementing strategic sales initiatives and achieving performance targets to enhance branch performance. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Drive revenue growth by implementing effective sales strategies for all product categories, including DP, International, Retail, Cargo, and E-Retail. Monitor branch revenue performance against targets, identifying deviations and taking corrective actions as needed. Enhance profitability of branch customers and key accounts through regular analysis and relationship management. Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and sales process guidelines within the branch. Follow up on product-specific sales leads and ensure timely closure in collaboration with the telemarketing team. Negotiate rates and service offers with customers, ensuring compliance with pricing guidelines. Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential large clients and channel partners to maximize revenue. Track product-wise yields and implement plans to meet established targets. Ensure timely collections and manage account receivables to meet financial objectives. Update prospect details in the SAFFIRE software package daily and communicate service issues to internal and external customers. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred. Relevant certifications in sales management or marketing (e.g., Certified Sales Professional (CSP), Professional Certified Marketer (PCM)) are advantageous. Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing sales operations within the logistics or express delivery industry. Strong experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans, monitoring performance metrics, and achieving financial targets.
