The work we do matters.
Nova Scotia Pension Services Corporation (NS Pension) is a growing non-profit corporation dedicated to a wide range of investment, pension administration, and compliance services for two of Nova Scotia’s leading pension plans. In total, we manage almost $14 billion in plan assets, serve over 60 employers and more than 80,000 members, retirees, and survivors.
We administer the pension benefits and investment assets of the Public Service Superannuation Plan and the Teachers’ Pension Plan and administer the pension benefits of the Members’ Retiring Allowances and the three former Sydney Steel pension plans
POSITION SUMMARY:
Overseeing the daily operations of the Internal Services team, you will ensure high-quality support services are provided to our plan members and internally across NS Pension.
In this position, you will report directly to the Chief Pension Officer (CPO) and will be responsible for the operational oversight of our reception area. This includes managing high-volume document handling, imaging processes, and incoming calls and inquiries. Your role is critical in ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient first point of contact for our organisation.
You will collaborate closely with other Pension division managers to foster seamless cooperation between the Internal Services team, Client Services, and Employer Services, ensuring a unified approach to member service excellence. You will also work with the Manager, Corporate Records to support the implementation of the records management program for the Pension division. In addition, you will partner with Financial Services to manage invoices and vendor payments, and with Internal Audit and Compliance to address process compliance and audit findings.
