The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical contribution in the CQE/QA team and will define the test strategy and create and execute both manual and automated tests. They must have a keen eye, interest in visual quality, and set elevated expectations for our product to exceed customer expectations. They must be meticulous in their daily work, have effective communication skills and be steadfast in their beliefs on quality. They will work with developers and QA personnel effectively across organizations within and outside of AMD. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: As a senior member of the verification team, you will understand the requirements, design, and feature implementation to define the verification scope and develop test strategy to verify the software's correctness. To achieve this, you will be expected to work with PM’s and engineering teams You will improve validation capabilities to meet quality goals through tools, technical and procedural methodology enhancements (applying best practices, defining testing strategies and metrics etc.), and participation in various internal and cross-functional initiatives Proficiency in debugging and root causing internal and customer reported issues.
