Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Kofax Imaging Developer for a long-term, onsite contract position with a state government agency in Atlanta, GA. Under general supervision, you will design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level imaging, workflow, and content management solutions.
This role is critical for designing and deploying enterprise-scale capture solutions, automating information-intensive processes, and ensuring our systems meet security and compliance expectations. You will work with a variety of technologies, including the full Kofax suite, .NET, and Java, to deliver scalable and high-availability systems.
Please note: This is a fully onsite position in Atlanta, GA. Candidates must be local to the metro Atlanta area.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform system analysis, design, and development for Document Management, Records Management, and Enterprise Content Management systems.
  • Design and develop imaging and workflow solutions using .NET and Java technologies.
  • Leverage extensive experience with Kofax Capture, Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM), and Kofax Total Agility platforms.
  • Develop custom workflows and export connectors using C#.NET and Java to integrate with back-end systems.
  • Automate data and document extraction using OCR/ICR, barcode, and machine learning-based classification.
  • Install, configure, and maintain production scanners (e.g., Fujitsu, NextScan).
  • Document the functional design of systems and applications for future maintenance and upgrades.
