JOB SUMMARY

Tokyo Street Market is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming dining and shopping experience. This position combines fast food service with retail support for our Japanese goodies store. You’ll assist customers with their orders, handle transactions, answer product questions, and help maintain a clean and inviting environment.

SKILLS

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in fast food, restaurant, or retail is an asset (but not required).
• Comfort with POS systems and basic cash handling.
• Ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Japanese food or snacks is a plus.
• Reliable, friendly, and team-oriented personality.

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process dine-in, takeout, and retail transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist with merchandising and stocking Japanese products to keep displays organized and attractive.
• Suggest add-on items and upsell food or store products during customer interactions.
• Keep the checkout counter, dining area, and store sections clean and organized.
• Restock shelves and ensure food and retail items are available and neatly presented.
• Answer customer questions about menu items, specials, or product details.
• Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
