How you make a difference:
The LPN Travel Nurse delivers patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within correctional healthcare settings. Under RN supervision, they assist with treatment plans, administer medications, and support diagnostic procedures. The LPN maintains clinical documentation, adheres to safety protocols, and participates in emergency response efforts. Responsibilities also include assisting with minor procedures and implementing therapeutic diets. This position requires 100% travel to support multiple healthcare facilities as needed.

Apply now to be part of this rewarding team! * Location: Must live in the Denver, CO area, with travel required to detention centers at Arapahoe, Douglas, Weld, and occasionally Elbert County. * Experience: Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience in corrections or emergency medicine. * Shifts: 4+ shifts per month requirement which includes one weekend, and one major and one minor holiday throughout the year. Must be available for both day and night shifts. * Scheduling: Schedules will be planned one month in advance but may require flexibility for last-minute assignments based on immediate needs. * Benefits: Mileage or gas reimbursement provided for travel between sites. *Positive Attitude is a must! * Deadline to apply to this position is September 30th, 2025. Qualifications & Requirements:

EDUCATION

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

EXPERIENCE

• One (1) or more years clinic experience required
• Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) within the states of practice
• Current CPR certification
