JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Manager with 15 to 20 years of expertise in outdoor cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in special cooling systems, energy modelling, and district cooling. The role involves leading the design, development, and optimization of outdoor cooling solutions while ensuring energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 15 to 20 years of experience in HVAC and outdoor cooling system design, with a focus on special cooling systems, energy modeling, and district cooling.
• Proficiency in IES-VE software for building energy modeling and simulation.
• Strong expertise in CFD analysis using ANSYS Fluent software.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools and techniques.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale outdoor cooling and district cooling projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• In-depth knowledge of sustainable design practices and energy-efficient cooling solutions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit for creating detailed design drawings and layouts.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.

• Lead the design and optimization of outdoor cooling systems to meet client requirements and project specifications.
• Oversee energy modelling using IES-VE software to determine heating and cooling requirements.
• Overseet CFD analysis using ANSYS Fluent to simulate airflow, thermal comfort, and system performance.
• Provide expertise in special cooling systems, including misting systems, evaporative coolers, and other advanced cooling technologies.
• Manage district cooling projects, ensuring seamless integration with building systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, and other stakeholders to integrate cooling systems into overall project designs.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals, system layouts, and design drawings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to design and installation teams during project execution, start-up, and commissioning phases.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in cooling technologies, energy modeling, and district cooling practices.
