ESTIMATOR - HIGHWAY, BRIDGE & INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION

We are seeking an experienced Estimator, focusing on highway, bridge, and infrastructure projects across Sudbury and Northern Ontario. This position offers the opportunity to work on significant projects ranging from $5M to $150M, supported by competitive compensation, strong benefits, and a collaborative team environment.

Position Highlights:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions and schedules for a variety of infrastructure projects.
• Utilize advanced estimating and scheduling software
• Collaborate with and provide support to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive and accurate estimates for highway, bridge, and infrastructure projects.
• Analyze project documentation to prepare precise proposals.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Review and evaluate bid proposals for accuracy and completeness.
• Work with Project Managers and Engineers to align on project expectations.
• Track and analyze productivity data to continuously improve estimating accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for beneficial project changes during the tendering process.
• Represent Teranorth at various industry functions

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in municipal, highway, and bridge construction estimating.
• Proficiency with estimating and scheduling software.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
