ABOUT US

We are a Canadian-based company specializing in modular floating dock systems. We work with installers and homeowners to create durable, customized waterfront solutions.
We are seeking a Marine Engineer or Dock Design Professional to partner with us on a subcontract basis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and excited to help customers bring their dock projects to life.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Proof of credentials (P.Eng, EIT, or equivalent — required).
  • Willing to learn BC’s dock permitting process and waterfront construction regulations online.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to meet directly with clients occasionally on site to verify the land.
  • Integrity, honesty, and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with customers (in person on-site or virtually) to assess their waterfront property and dock needs.
  • Provide design input that aligns with BC private moorage guidelines and other local permitting requirements.
  • Prepare dock plans, technical drawings, and design packages for submission to regulators and for manufacturing overseas.
  • Collaborate with our team and provide engineering insights to ensure dock designs are safe, functional, and compliant.
  • Advise customers on site-specific challenges (depth, anchoring, tides, setbacks, etc.).
