Description NWS is a home health agency focused on serving a very niche population of patients. Our clients have been diagnosed with chronic illnesses due to occupational exposures while working for the Department of Energy or their contractors. Our team is devoted to a collective cause of providing a superior level of care meant to enhance the lives of the community we serve. We are seeking to hire a candidate for this position who shares our passion and dedication for the work that we do. We're looking to hire a part time staff nurse with a track record of reliability and a can-do attitude. The right candidate for this position will be compassionate and have strong communication skills. This position is responsible for providing skilled in home care to all patients assigned to their case load. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: conducting comprehensive assessments of patient's chronic conditions, providing services as ordered by the treating physician, educating patients and their families on disease process management, and assisting the Case Manager with care coordination as needed, such as DME/HME. This position will also be responsible for providing accurate and timely documentation of the services provided during their shift and any observations of new/worsening symptoms or progress toward goals.
