Position Summary This position provides remote administrative and operational support to a busy orthopedic practice. The role involves managing patient communications, supporting clinical workflows, and assisting with insurance and documentation processes to help ensure patients receive timely care. Responsibilities • Convert patient voicemails into telephone encounters and route appropriately • Monitor and respond to incoming inbox messages • Assist with FMLA and disability paperwork coordination • Support patient intake coordination and intake management • Assist with prior authorizations and insurance documentation • Enter and manage information within the electronic health record (EHR) • Scribing into electronic health record (EHR) • Communicate with internal clinical and administrative teams to resolve patient needs • Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality at all times • Support a high-volume healthcare environment while maintaining attention to detail.
