KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work under the guidance and instruction of senior engineers.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, environmental scientists, and sub-consultants at a national level.
• Implement all company and project-specific health and safety requirements.
• Undertake a variety of geotechnical fieldwork tasks commensurate with your role requirements, experience level, and business needs.
• Conduct site investigations, including drilling, sampling, and testing of soils and rocks.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Understand, uphold, and communicate D&N’s Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management system.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL POSSESS:

• A degree in Earth Science, Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
• A passion for fieldwork and a commitment to health and safety.
• A willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Australian working rights or a clear pathway to obtaining them.
