In this role, you’ll be responsible for the daily execution of shipping activities — including load tendering, documentation preparation, tracking and tracing, and other logistics operations — for both domestic and international shipments originating from WWT warehouses, vendor sites, and remote facilities.   Responsibilities:   * Demonstrates basic understanding of key terminology and key performance indicators in the industry. * Utilizes resources to complete tasks; tracks own efficiency using reports and tools. * Distinguishes between activities and tasks that add differing levels of value; begins to determine potential improvements to impact quality. * Identifies areas where efficiency and process improvement are needed within own work area. * Uses established tools and techniques to track progress related to implementing process improvements. * Develops an understanding of the company’s current tools and database system for records management. * Demonstrates understanding of current records management procedures by assisting with compiling documentation. * Assists with the maintenance of basic filing systems. * Collects information to understand problems and identify their origin. * Researches precedents and known solutions for basic or routine problems. * Implements prescribed steps and ensures effective resolution, escalating troubleshooting if needed.
