The aim is to capture the required information/ feedback to formulate a calendar of training programmes for the tourism workforce at all levels as required. Roles and Responsibilities The overall objective of the assignment is to undertake a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis for the Tourism and Hospitality Sector, including: · The collection of information about the number and skillsets of graduates from tourism and hospitality training institutions across Samoa who are currently employed in the sector. · The collection of information about the number of students undertaking tourism and hospitality studies on both full-time and on a part-time basis. · Information about the number and skillsets of foreign workers. · Information about the training institutions the workers have attended. · Collection of information on the actual skills needs. · The types of trainings required. · The level of qualifications needed by the sector. · Collection of data on the number of employed staff, both casual and permanent, including disaggregation by gender (male and female) and disability (where information available). · Supports development of an inclusive training program in the tourism and hospitality sector. · Information on the disaggregation of employees across the hierarchical structure.
