You’ll report to the Financial Controller and work closely with the Accounting & Financial Control team, learning how to support accurate and timely financial reporting. What you’ll be doing Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including basic profit & loss and balance sheet reconciliations. Helping to produce financial reporting packs and commentary for review by senior finance colleagues. Supporting the team in comparing actual performance to budgets and forecasts, preparing simple variance analysis. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring deadlines are met. Assisting with year-end processes, including preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation. Learning how to improve processes and controls, and suggesting ideas for efficiency. Providing ad hoc analysis and support to the Financial Controller. Collaborating with central teams (Group, Tax, Compliance) as needed. Qualifications Studying towards a finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, or CIMA) or keen to start.
