Job Description The Commercial Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting the strategic finance business partnering function across all revenue‑generating areas, including Commercial, Analytics, Consulting, and Events. Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for both finance and non‑finance stakeholders. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes for all revenue‑generating functions. Performance Reporting Assist in the end‑to‑end financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external standards. Monitor and analyze revenue and cost performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the wider finance team to streamline and automate reporting processes, leveraging best practices and technology. Reflect the move to ‘SaaS metrics’ to help build sales and revenue driver models using new MI data to provide insights into causal variance analysis Finance Partnering Serve as a finance partner to leaders across Commercial, Analytics, Consulting, and Marketing functions providing commercial insight and challenge to drive business performance. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand business drivers and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. Automation & Digital Tools Purpose: Increase speed‑to‑insight, reduce manual work, and improve decision quality by standardising on core platforms and automations across Commercial Finance. Core platforms cover the following areas and experience of these systems will be helpful to the application Anaplan (FP&A & Planning) Power BI (MI / Dashboards) NetSuite (Source Ledger) Salesforce & Pipeline MI Snowflake / Data Warehouse Automation & Process Improvement Data hygiene & controls: define and run quality checks (duplicate IDs, missing dimensions, timing lags); implement exception reports and alerting for material variances before monthly close. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a collaborative, proactive approach. Experience with finance transformation, automation, or process improvement projects is highly desirable. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Anaplan) is a plus. Working knowledge of NetSuite (saved searches, custom reports) and Salesforce data structures; familiarity with Snowflake is a plus.
