This internship offers hands-on experience and an opportunity to learn about the Accounting Operations functions within the industry. As an intern this person will provide support for our financial reporting and analytical processes related to credit loss. This position will also assist with the development, enhancement, and maintenance of financial models and reports under US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards, as well as support SOX controls and compliance requirements. Key Accountabilities Some key responsibilities and/or projects will include but not limited to Assist the Senior Financial analyst with support activities related to credit loss model administration, credit loss forecasting and reporting Support documentation, controls, reconciliations, and data validation related to SOX controls Enhance and maintain existing reports, controls and analytics Support department in processing data extracts and maintain department databases Provide general support for audits, SOX testing, and departmental initiatives related to projects and system support Qualifications, Experience, and Skills We are looking for inspiring students with diverse backgrounds and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic.
